Challenge

UK Border Force came to APS for help creating an innovative training tool, making sure every user was given the optimal training experience.

Our digital teams needed to craft a simple and interactive web-based experience that ensured all content was easy to access, to understand, and to learn from – utilising detailed 3D renders.

Solution

3D modelling held the key to success.

We made site visits to capture info and photography, which allowed our team to render intricate 3D models of the places that Border Force search – in this instance, a ship – while our scriptwriters and videographers incorporated these models into training videos.

At every step, we worked closely side by side with Border Force personnel, guiding the design, content and layout of the online site and training tools, to ensure an efficient, speedy delivery.
